Am Weltfrauentag, dem 8. März 2023, haben wir uns mit den Ereignissen im Iran beschäftigt und konnten dazu viele Details von der Entwicklung des Landes und der Stellung der Frauen durch den ehemaligen deutschen Botschafter im Iran erfahren.

Es sind Proteste von enormem Ausmaß, die Menschen erheben ihre Stimme unter Einsatz ihres Lebens. Das Ablegen des Kopftuches in der Öffentlichkeit ist zum Symbol des Widerstands geworden.

„Es geht nicht um das Kopftuch, sondern um die Freiheit es zu tragen - oder auch nicht zu tragen!“
